Properties: Potassium carbonate has anhydrous or crystals containing 1.5 molecules. The anhydrous is a white powder, and the crystalline products is white translucent small crystals. odorless, with a strong alkali taste, relative density 2.248（19℃）, melting point 891℃, and solubility in water 114.5g/100ml(25℃), easy to absorb moisture and deliquescence in humid air. The PH value of 10% aqueous solution is about 11.6, insoluble in ethanol and ether.

Applications: Potassium carbonate can be used in glass, printing and dyeing, soap, enamel, preparation of potassium salts, synthetic ammonia decarbonylation, also used in color TV industry, as a leavening agent in food industry.

Packing and storage: In plastic-woven sack with polythene inner bag, net weight 25kg, 50kg, or 1000kg, Store at a ventilated, dry place.
